Mongolia is a paradise for those, who love horse
riding. The country is vast with a great to see and
the number of horse here is more than the population…
The Mongols are perhaps the best horse riders in the
world as they learn riding their sturdy steeds from
the age of 3-4. And they say "A Mongol is born
on horseback and dies on horseback". Riding Mongolian
horses and taking this fantastic tour, you will visit
the historic sites from the Great Mongolian Empire
(13-15th century AD) in the heart of the world as
well as legendary Tuvkhun monastery and the picturesque
Khangai Mountains and the Orkhon Waterfalls. A visit
to Hustai national park with the last wild horse in
the world the Takhi will make your horse riding adventure
an unforgettable one!
Tour note: All levels including
novices, however, beginners are advised to practice
at least for 2 days beforehand.

1. |
Arrival
in Ulaanbaatar, city sightseeing:
Meet at the airport and transfer to Hotel***.
Visit the Gandan monastery, Museum of
National History and the Genghis Monument
on the Sukhbaatar Square.

Ulaanbaatar
- Karakorum.
This morning we pack our vehicles and
drive to ancient capital Karakorum via the sand dunes at Elsen Tasarkhai. Arrive and transfer
to ger camp. Horse riding practice
along the river Orkhon.

3. |
Karakorum - Khangai Mountains. Horse riding.
This morning we drive visit the Erdene Zuu monastery and surroundings.
After lunch, we’ll drive to meet with our horses
and horse keepers at the Khangai Mountain range, start horse riding
toward the Khujirt river.

4-8. |
Horse
riding to in the Khangai mountains toward Tuvkhun monastery.
On these 5 days we ride our horses to
legendary Tuvkhun monastery in Khangai
mountains visiting spectacular natura sites and cultural sites both, enjoying the pristine Khangai Mountains beauties and wilderness, we will be camping in wilderness and be close to the Mother Nature. Also we will meet heart nomads along the way and witness their renowned hospitality. Arrive in Tuvkhun in the evening
of Day 5, transfer to ger camp and celebrate the ride.

9. |
Rest day in
Tuvkhun monastery.
We enjoy a full day of relaxation here
allowing our horses rest. Visit the legendary
monastery and hear the stories related
to Zanabazar - Mongolian 1st Buddhist
Saint. He introduced Buddhism with a hope of uniting Mongols under banners of the Yellow Faith. The monastery is nestled near the summit of Shiveet Ulaan Mt. that allows vast views of a sea of forests beneath. There are several temples restored in recent years with the revival of Buddhism in Mongolia. A cave or rather a niche called "mother belly" is believed to purify your sins in the next rebirth if you crawl in and out of it.

Tuvkhun Monastery - Hustai national park.
This morning we say goodby to our horses and wranglers who have become our dear friends in the last few days together and drive to Hustai national
park with a lunch stop on the way. Arrive and transfer to Hustai camp, enjoy hiking or optional horse riding
to view the Takhi wild horses in the wilderness.

Hustai
- Ulaanbaatar.
Drive back to Ulaanbaatar and transfer
to the hotel. Sightseeing: Bogd Khan's
Palace Museum, Buddha Park and Zaisan
Memorial. Folk concert and farewell dinner.
