About the GUN-Galuut
trail rides
These trail rides are organised in
the very scenic nature reserve of Gun-Galuut,
very close to Ulaanbaatar just 2 hour drive,
therefore, suitable for people spending few
days in Mongolia and wishing to enjoy riding
the Mongolian sturdy steeds without travelling
too far. An experienced local horse wrangler
will accompany the riders, and English speaking
assistance is available at Steppe Nomads ger
camp. Each day there will be about 6 hour ride
(full day) or 2-4 hour ride (half day) depending
on the program. The horses are carefully selected
and horse equipments are good. Therefore, even
people with no previous horse riding experience
are welcome to take our trail rides.
