place in the Taiga forest in the northernmost
Mongolia in the quest of the Reindeer Riders!
Mongolia has a wonderful composition of ethnics
like Khalkha Mongols, Darkhad, Buriyat, Kazakh,
Khoton, Uzemchin, Torguud, Bayad, Tsaatan and
many more. Among these dozen of slightly different
traditions The Tsaatan or the Reindeer riders
are the most interesting and the most mysterious
people. Now there are about only 400 Tsaatan
people in Mongolia and they inhabit the remotest
but amazing beautiful mountain taigas. The Tsaatan
worship The Eternal Blue Sky Father and breed
reindeers for living. Take this unforgettable
journey to the Taiga on horseback and admire
what Mongolia has to offer! This trip will take

1. |
Arrival
in Ulaanbaatar, city sightseeing:
Gandan monastery, Museum
of National History and the Genghis
Monument on the Sukhbaatar Square.

2. |
Moren
- Lake Huvsgul.
This morning we take the flight
to Moren - center of Huvsgul province.
Arrive and transfer to ger camp
at the shores of the famous lake.

3-4. |
Lake
Huvsgul - Jigleg - Darkhad Valley.
We are transferred to Jigleg Pass,
practice riding. Horse riding to
the Darkhad Valley crossing the
mountains.

Arriving
in Rinchinlkhumbe.
Continue the horse ride to Rinchinlkhumbe
village. Arrive in the early evening
and transfer to ger camp. Rest.

Horse
riding in the Darkhad Valley.
Horse riding to the north toward
the Taiga. Admire the wilderness
and the nature beauty.

Riding
in the Taiga and meeting the Tsaatans.
Ride your horses in the Taiga to
meet the Tsaatan people or the Reindeer
Herders. Meeting and seeing their
lifestyle.

The
Taiga - Tsagaan Nuur.
We leave our horses and drive to
Tsagaan Nuur village. Overnight
at Tsaachin center.

Tsagaan
Nuur - Rinchinlkhumbe - Ulaan Uul.
Driving back toward Moren, break
the journey in Ulaan Uul village.

Uul - Moren.
Drive back to Moren and transfer
to ger camp. Rest and enjoy visiting
the local bazaar etc.

Take the flight back to Ulaanbaatar.
Transfer to the hotel. Sightseeing:
Bogd Khan's Palace Museum, Buddha
Park and Zaisan Memorial. Folk concert
